Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

What we use

  • Essential: required for wallet connection state (via WalletConnect/RainbowKit) and to remember your cookie preference itself.
  • Analytics (opt-in only): after you accept, we use PostHog to measure anonymous product usage. PostHog stores its own cookie/localStorage identifier (a random, non-personal ID) — never linked to your wallet address or any personal information.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad-tracking cookies.

Tag Manager and Consent Mode

MovingWallet uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage the script above. GTM does not load any measurement script until you accept — Google's Consent Mode v2 signal defaults to "denied" and only updates to "granted" after your explicit acceptance.

Session Replay

Session replay (screen recording) is disabled in code on this app, unconditionally — it never records here, regardless of analytics settings, because this surface displays wallet balances and portfolio values.

What we never do

  • We never call PostHog's identify() or alias() — no event is ever linked to a personal identity.
  • We never use your wallet address as an analytics identifier.
  • We never send your full or partial wallet address to our analytics provider.

Local storage

Run history and simulation results are stored locally in your browser. This data does not leave your device.

Managing your preference

You can change your cookie/analytics preference at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link, or by controlling cookies through your browser settings.

Retention and contact

Specific data retention periods for analytics events are not yet documented publicly — pending confirmation. For cookie-related queries, contact us through the project's official channels.
